Since its beginning in September 2007, the Teen Book Club has reached out to Brownsville's teen population with the goal of promote literacy amongst young adults and provide a great way for teens to socialize and discuss their favorite books!

The Central Branch Teen Book Club meets every second Saturday of the month from 1:00-2:00 p.m.  The Southmost Branch Teen Book Club meets on the third Saturday of every month from 2:00-3:00 p.m. All teens from grades 7-12 are invited.

Those interested in participating may sign-up at the Children's and Young Adult Department of either library branch. You may also call 956.548.1055 ext. 2204 for the Southmost Branch or ext. 2114 for the Central Branch for the next meeting.  Please try and sign-up at least two weeks before the event.
