Biography Resource Center + The Complete Marquis Who's Who® The Biography Resource Center is a comprehensive database of biographical information on more than one million people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. It combines approximately 300,000 biographies from respected Gale Group sources with nearly one million biographies from The Complete Marquis Who's Who™. The database also includes full-text articles from nearly 275 periodicals. Literature Resource Center - LRC, Scribner, Twayne US, Twayne English, and Twayne World Authors Designed to meet the research needs of undergraduate and high school students, the Literature Resource Center provides access to biographies, bibliographies and critical analysis of authors from every age and literary discipline. Combining Gale's most used literary databases in a single Internet-searchable service, the Literature Resource Center covers more than 90,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,000 of the most-studied authors. Scribner Writers Series The Scribner Writers series, "long the gold standard for literary criticism" according to the American Library Association's Reference & User Services Quarterly (Vol. 38, No. 1), includes some 1,600 full-text articles on writers and literary genres drawn from thirteen acclaimed print sets. Each signed article was written by a noted scholar and concludes with a bibliography of primary and secondary sources for further study.
